Astrology
Astrology evolved as a reliable predictive science based on the realization that celestial objects strongly influence people’s lives. Studying these heavenly bodies can reveal a lot about human beings, their characteristics, fortunes, and future.
Astrology is a predictive science with its own sets of methods, claims, and findings that have forever inspired and allowed people to insights into different aspects of their life. Astrology, with its wows and hows, is contentful and approving enough to make people believe in the same. And thankfully, it continues to do so despite the world shifting bases from what they believe in and what they don’t.
You must be aware that there are as many as 8 planets in the solar system. However, If you ask an online astrologer about the planets in astrology, they will tell you that there are as many as 9 planets in astrology also called Navagraha. And surprisingly, the planet Earth, in astrology, is not counted among the nine planets.

Sun (Surya), Moon (Chandra), Mars(Mangala), Mercury (Budha), Jupiter (Brihaspati), Venus (Shukra), Saturn (Shani), Rahu (north node of the moon), and Ketu (south node of the moon).
Among these planets, some planets are called friendly planets, meaning their presence of them brings positivity to your life. And then, some planets have a negative influence on humans. The latter would be planets like Rahu and Ketu. Their presence in one’s Kundli is said to bring pain and misery. However, there is another aspect one needs to be aware of. It’s the fact that the presence of Ketu in one’s horoscope is not always bad and similarly, the presence of Jupiter in one’s Kundli might not be the best every time.
There are as many as 12 houses in Kundli. And all of these houses represent one thing or the other. Then there are other things in astrology like elements, the Moon sign of an individual, numerology, tarot and so much more that are impossible to wind up here.
Astrological Predictions

And what areas of life do those Houses represent? – All these form part of the horoscope reading or analysis and forecasting about a person and their future.
Vedic Astrology is an ancient Indian science that explains planetary motions and positions for time and their effect on humans and other entities on earth. Vedic astrology can be traced thousands of years back. Early Vedic astrology was only based on the movement of planets to stars, but later on, it started including zodiac signs as well. According to Vedic astrology, there are 27 constellations made up of 12 zodiac signs, 9 planets, and 12 houses with each house and planet representing some aspect of human life. Depending on when a person is born, the 12 signs are distributed among the 12 houses and 9 planets are placed in various houses. Vedic astrology is nothing but interpreting the meaning of arrangements as it applies to humans and other entities.

Bhrigu Nadi is an ancient form of astrology developed by Bhrigu Rishi. It is developed many thousand years ago and practiced in southern India. Bhrigu Nadi is the unit method you can predict each and everything. Bhrigu Nadi Astrology is a branch of Nadi Astrology – an ancient way of prophecy, before Parasher Rishi. It means to give predictions without checking dasha. Jupiter is considered Lagna for Male and Venus is considered Lagna for Female.
Nadi Astrology is based on the belief that the past, present, and future lives of all humans were foreseen and recorded on palm leaves by Hindu sages in ancient times. Nadi Astrology is based on an old-age belief that one can decipher the past, present, and future of all humans through the text written on palm leaves. It is popularly believed that the great Hindu sages of yore foresaw the past, present, and future of all humans and hence, recorded these on tree barks and palm leaves
Over the ages, people have come to believe that a thousand years ago, great Indian sages were granted a boon – to look into every human being’s past, present, and future lives. They had to power to look into the lives of people who were not only dead, and living but also those who were yet to be born! These sages then recorded these visions, i.e. data onto palm leaves in Tamil script. Today, these can be deciphered or read by Nadi astrologers or experts who have studied this branch of astrology. The term ‘Nadi’ in Tamil means ‘in search of. Therefore, the existence of Nadi astrology indicates that every human being is in search of his past and future. According to legends, these scriptures on palm leaves are scattered across different parts of India and some of them were first found in Tamil Nadu. It is widely believed that these pal scriptures, holding secrets to past and present were classified a thousand years ago during the Chola reign in South India. The Nadis are named after the rishis and sages who originally recorded these findings. They are Suka Nadi, Kaushika Nadi, Brahma Nadi and Agasthiya Nadi.
Bhrigu Nadi is a classical technique of Bhrigu Maharishi. It is an important limbo of Vedic astrology. It follows a different methodology, quite distinct from the parashara system.
In Bhrigu Nadi System, the methodology to be followed in analyzing the events is:
- There is no concept of ascendant;
- The horoscope should be drawn with Aries as No. 1 i.e. the first sign;
- Importance is given to the rotation of Jupiter;
- Jupiter stays in each sign for approximately 12 years.
